During the last years the german chef Steffen Henssler had become more than just a well known chef, he had become a celebrity. It was clear that he had actually become a person brand - with the same attention needed as any other brand. The challenge here was to re-build a digital presence and steer its creative output so that it was in harmony with his own personality. Not an easy task, as it is always in the case of a person brand.

A digital stage for a vibrant personality.

We needed to create a centralised hub for all of Steffen's activities: his receipts, books, tours, tv-shows his shop and restaurants. It was clear that there was a lot of content. The most important thing was to create a calm design that would allow the content to stand out and have its prominent stage. The design was made simple, clear yet easy to navigate so that the magic, which Steffen makes, would be easily digestible by all visitors. After all he is in the business of creating taste experiences.

Hansaplast is the global market leader in plasters and woundcare. The main challenge was to create a platform that would raise awareness within the low-interest category of healthcare. 

The perfect balance between product information and editorial content

We created a platform that caters to consumers needs with enriched product information and topic based content as well as useful tips from Hansaplast’s medical experts. Blurring the borders between editorial content and profound background information, which pay into the brand goals. This resulted in a significant increase of global traffic in the first year, that hasn’t reached it’s climax yet.

How we got there:

1. A deep web audit including user behaviour and segmentation of the target group in co-operation with Forrester Research

2. Development of a digital strategy tailor-made for a complex target groups and their needs

3. Creating a platform and embedding the medical expertise in an easy to digest editorial look and feel

4. Handling the international rollout for 20 countries in cooperation with CTRL QS was plausible because of the harmonised Content-Management-System.

Graf von Faber-Castell, the premium brand of Faber-Castell, wanted to have a refined and subtle online presence that underlines their holistic sense of quality in creating timeless writing instruments and accessories.
The luxury brand’s website had to combine contemporary digital design and web technologies with the heritage of over 250 years of german craftsmanship.

Strong focus on high-quality craftsmanship and traditional values.

The unique writing instruments are presented in a clear yet prominent way. We enabled the exploration of the various writing instrument series and their material combinations.

Particular attention was given to Graf Faber Castell’s Pen Of The Year range, including ten superior annual edition pens – each produced for one year only. Since those high-end pens are individually numbered, limited and handcrafted to perfection, their digital presentation had to be as unique as their particular history of formation. So we took every single Pen Of The Year and created tailor-made stories that let users explore the design, materials, production and craftsmanship. Finally we combined all of these stories in a timeline overview.

paymorrow – repositioning a brand that lost traction

Within the business field of online-payment, Paymorrow was one of the first in the market. Competitors had gained market-share within the last years, which forced Paymorrow to evaluate their current position.
Finding a unique position in a harmonised market was the main challenge.

Dramatizing success

The main insight to Paymorrow's new positioning was, that success of the primary target group equaled their own success. They wanted to be more than merely a service provider - they wanted to be perceived as a partner.
Therefore, a dramatization of their target group's success was chosen as a key element for repositioning the brand. We brought the real clients of Paymorrow to the forefront, to show Paymorrow's dedication to success.
Our solution resulted in a corporate identity that cascaded down to diverse communication measures like - amongst others  - a new website and folders.
Now, Paymorrow reflects its core values in the market.

Project M is an existing print magazine published by Allianz, one of the world's biggest insurance group. The stakeholder magazine presents compelling articles, in-depth research and thought-provoking viewpoints by leading figures. Our task was to create a digital magazine that represents thought-leadership in every aspect.

An award-winning, fully responsive online magazine.

Creating thought-leadership with a digital product means understanding the users needs, meet them and create subtle details and tools that exceed the usability they are used to.

We created an award-winning, fully responsive site concept that focusses on the reader's needs of continuous reading flow, a minimum of distraction and no dead-ends.

The whole content can be accessed without once reloading the website: all the articles open up within the overview templates, making it as easy as possible to get back to your starting point and keep on browsing through related articles.

Facing the challenge of implementing a lot of multimedia and infographic elements without breaking the flow of reading we came up with the possibility for users to expand and collapse these elements – always connected to the specific paragraph.
And finally we integrated a text-marker-tool to share and save particular copy sections on the fly.
